Sanguisugabogg isn't just the most insane band name we've heard in a while; it's also a fast-rising death-metal four-piece straight outta Ohio. Their sound is far beyond brutal — think a mix of Cannibal Corpse and Mortician — and their sense of humor is pitch black and deliriously twisted. Both are on proud display on their forthcoming Century Media debut, Tortured Whole, due out March 26th. Today (February 5th), the quartet dropped the LP's second single, "Dead As Shit," along with its gleefully absurd and gory animated music video in which countries go to war over the world's last joint. "We've always wanted to do an animated video," the band says. "Check it out — we are fucking cartoons. We hope you like weed." Animator Hallhammer adds, "Getting high as fuck and animating blood to this song was a pleasure. I hope the characters involved don't put me on a list."
