A baby in Brazil can now say that they were quite literally born into metal. During a Metallica show over the weekend in Curitiba, Brazil, a woman gave birth to her son while the band was playing "Enter Sandman."

According to Joice Figueiró's Instagram, she was rocking out to Metallica's stadium performance when suddenly her 39-week pregnant son, Luan Figueiró, decided it was his time to shine. Luckily, both the baby and the mother are all well and fine and the birth went off without a hitch. Read her Instagram caption below as translated by Metal Injection

"When would I imagine that I would be at the @metallica show at 39 weeks pregnant and this boy decides to be born right there, 3 songs before the show ends, at Couto Pereira to the sound of 'Enter Sandman?'"

"In every show I go to something has to happen, but this time I think I've outdone myself haha. Luan Figueiró came into the world on 5/7/2022 at 23:15 shaking all metal structures haha."

Congrats to the new mother and especially baby Luan, who can one day say that he's quite literally a lifelong metalhead.
