Coheed and Cambria's new clip for "You Got Spirit, Kid" (via The Nerdist) is an homage to '80s teen movies. The clip, which was directed by DJay Brawner (Refused), follows the band as they take down a group of school bullies through a series of pranks.

Says frontman Claudio Sanchez, "Our video for 'You Got Spirit, Kid' gave us a chance to showcase a relaxed side of the band's personality. With our love for '80s nostalgia, we decided to approach the treatment in a John Hughes or Steven Spielberg type fashion, allowing the spirit of youth and camaraderie to shine in each frame."

Escape the Fate has announced the release of 'Hate Me,' on October 30, 2015. The band has also  unveiled an upcoming headlining tour with support from A Skylit Drive, Sworn In, Sirens & Sailors and Myka, Relocate.

As for why the new album is titled 'Hate Me,' frontman Craig Mabbitt explains, "Lyrically, a lot of these tracks are based around the hate we've received over the years and just embracing that and using it to our own advantage. I've had to step up to the plate lately, for the fans as much as anything else, because they take the name Escape The Fate very seriously and I owe them something for that, for all the support they've shown us over the years. It's very humbling for me to be able to listen to this collection of songs and think about where we've come from and what we've been through to get to this point."

The 'Hate Me' tour launches on October 13 in Anaheim, CA. Says guitarist Kevin "Thrasher" Gruft, the band is "so fucking stoked to play live on our headlining tour. I'm really excited to showcase a newly designed set list; including songs off our new album 'Hate Me.' As always, we cannot wait to meet all of you at the shows. This is a tour you do not want to miss!"
