Soulfly have released their new lyric video for "Bloodshed."

The song comes off Savages, the band's ninth studio album and first to feature Max Cavalera's son, Zyon, on drums.

Frontman Max Cavalera says, "The song is about the absurdity of the human condition in territories plagued by bloodshed all over the world. Not just recent events like Iraq, but also historical conflicts such as the U.S. Civil War, World Wars I and II, etc."

Savages will be released October 4.

As we reported earlier this week, Motörhead were forced to cut short their set at Germany's Wacken festival last Friday after Lemmy Kilmister felt too weak to continue.

It was Lemmy's first live appearance since cancelling a set of shows in late June after being hospitalized with a hematoma.

Motörhead guitarist Phil Campbell immediately tweeted a few Lemmy updates and responded to the obligatory Lemmy death rumors, writing, "Contrary to some reports, Lem is alive and kicking, so take no notice of these rumors from asshole tweeters."

Yesterday, Slash also tweeted a reassuring Lemmy update of his own, letting Motörhead fans know their hero is "doing well."

Here's the full Tweet:

"Motörhead rocked the Black Stage for more than 30 minutes and Lemmy gave everything to play an amazing show," said organizers of the Wacken festival not long after Lemmy walked off the stage. "He's keeping well, but the temperatures and circumstance led to the point that continuing the show would have led to a loss of quality. They did everything humanly possible to play this gig. Thank you so much, guys!"

Motörhead will release their 21st studio album, Aftershock, in the fall. They're also scheduled to play the following UK dates with Saxon in the fall:

Weds 13th November 2013 – NOTTINGHAM Royal Concert
Thur 14th November 2013 – NEWCASTLE City Hall
Sat 16th November 2013 – LONDON Brixton O2 Academy
Sun 17th November 2013 – LONDON Brixton O2 Academy*
Tue 19th November 2013 - WOLVERHAMPTON Civic Hall
Wed 20th November 2013 – MANCHESTER O2 Apollo

behemoth-2013_1.jpg

Behemoth's 10th studio album, The Satanist, which was originally announced to be released this fall, has now been pushed to 2014.

The album release will be accompanied by an extensive headlining tour.

Regarding the title of the new album, frontman Nergal says, "It took us over two decades to come up with a title that…says it all. While our new songs artistically take surprisingly adventurous directions, our message stands steadfast—proud and radical. The Satanist stands for undying yearning for liberation and love for freedom in all aspects of life. Considering all our life experiences that often took dramatic curves I couldn't think of more appropriate and fitting statement of who and where we are now."

The June/July issue of Revolver had an in-studio feature with Nergal where he talked about the new album, lawsuits, and leukemia.

Behemoth also dropped off Mayhem Festival earlier this year due to drummer Inferno needing surgery.

Psychedelic extreme-metal mad men Gigan will release their new album, Multi-Dimensional Fractal Sorcery and Super Science, in North America via Willowtip Records October 15. In anticipation, the band has teamed with Revolver to premiere a track from the record, "Influence through Ritualistic Projection." Check it out below and let us know what you think in the comments.

Lead guitarist and founder Eric Hersemann says of the album, "Multi-Dimensional Fractal Sorcery and Super Science is the best musical representation of Gigan so far, as it captures the essential elements of the first three releases while still stretching the existing boundaries of the Gigan universe! I had more time to work on this album and the result is a detailed and mesmerizing assault of psychedelic extreme metal! The production also came out spectacularly, with natural sounds and tones complemented by an unearthly ambiance and enigmatic vibe."

Propagandhi released their classic first record, How to Clean Everything, back in 1993 and are celebrating the record's 20th anniversary with a new edition on August 20th via Fat Wreck Chords. In anticipation, the band is premiering the remastered version of album track "Stick the Fucking Flag Up Your Goddam Ass, You Sonofabitch." Check it out below.

Guitarist Chris Hannah explains his reasoning for it, "Maybe it's the bath-salts talking, but I have come believe that there is value in having something that haunts you until you are dead. I give you…How to Clean Everything, the 20th anniversary edition."

The reissue includes the full album, the three outtakes the Fat Mike cut from the record, and a super rare four-song How to Clean Everything demo. The record was also remastered from the original analog reels and Fat Wreck are offering an exclusive tab book for the entire album. With both guitar and bass transcribed by Hannah himself, the book will be available bundled with the reissue.
