'RoboCop' Doc Trailer Reveals Director's Mantra: "I Want More Fucking Blood"

RoboCop — director Paul Verhoeven's outstanding, perennially misunderstood cyberpunk social satire — has rightfully earned a dedicated cult following since its 1987 release date. So thankfully, director Christopher Griffiths is working on the definitive text on the origins of the movie with RoboDoc: The Creation of RoboCop, and he just posted the documentary's first trailer to Twitter.

Griffiths has emerged as an auteur of Eighties camp — previously, he produced deep dives into Hellraiser, Hellraiser 2 and Fright Night. RoboDoc features interviews with over 20 members of the film's cast and crew, and it's also partnered with the RoboCop Archive (the officially repository for any and all things RoboCop related,) to make sure that they're leaving no stone unturned.
