Over the last two decades, Belgian's Amenra have proven themselves to be one of the most intense bands in heavy music. Their latest offering and first for Relapse Records is De Doorn — the title of which translates to "The Thorn" — and it more than lives up to this legacy. We talked to vocalist Colin H. van Eeckhout about rituals, catharsis, collaboration — and how his nipples, which he had surgically removed and preserved in resin, were nearly stolen.
