Randy Blythe on Lamb of God's Bad Brains Cover, Why H.R. Is Best Frontman Ever

To commemorate the 20-year anniversary of their one and only LP under their original band name Burn the Priest, Lamb of God are set to drop a killer new covers album called Legion: XX under their previous moniker. We're counting down to the May 18th release with a series of track-by-track videos with singer Randy Blythe, who breaks down each cover on the LP. Next up is Burn the Priest's aggressive take on Bad Brains' "I Against I" — a cover idea that was almost two decades in the making. In the clip above, Blythe talks about why he considers H.R. to be the greatest frontmen of all time, how seeing the D.C. hardcore-punk band live is an almost religious experience for him, what it was like filling in for H.R. for three shows and how LOG's cover is the ultimate show of respect.
