Randy Blythe on Lamb of God's Big Black Cover, Personal Tie to Song "Kerosene"

To commemorate the 20-year anniversary of their one and only LP under their original band name Burn the Priest, Lamb of God are set to drop a killer new covers album called Legion: XX under their previous moniker. We're counting down to the May 18th release with a series of track-by-track videos with singer Randy Blythe, who breaks down each cover on the LP. Next up is Burn the Priest's abrasive take on Big Black's "Kerosene" — the second single off the record. In the clip above, Blythe talks about how he related to the lyrics as a teen growing up in rural Virginia with nothing to do and how, when the band went to record the track, what seemed like such a simple song on the surface, actually gave them a ton of problems.
