Watch Myrkur's Breathtaking New Video "Ulvinde"

Amalie Bruun, A.K.A. Myrkur, has unveiled a breathtaking video for "Ulvinde," the second single from her forthcoming sophomore album Mareridt. Directed by Mats Ek, the dramatically shot visual follows the folk-metal musician on a meandering journey into the untamable heart of the Norwegian countryside. Wandering across the dark woods and craggy plains, she eventually comes face-to-face with her inner demons. While the scenery most strongly resembles a Scandanavian postcard (or an episode of Vikings) Mykur says that the video is a representation of her longing for an escape from the real world, which she "often feels I cannot — and was never meant to — function in."
