Dutch metal outfit The Charm the Fury are set to release their debut full-length, A Shade of My Former Self, on September 17 via Pavement Entertainment in North America. In anticipation, the band has teamed with Revolver to premiere a track off the record right here right now. Titled "Colorblind," the song features guest vocals from Daniël de Jongh of the tech-metal group Textures.

"This song is about equal rights for all people—more specifically, it is about the way in which gay people are being denied their rights," Drummer Mathijs Tieken comments. "In this time more than any other, anyone who feels the same way needs to stand up and speak out, and we considered it our duty to do so with this song. Hopefully, people will hear this message and be encouraged to help this cause."

A Shade of My Former Self is available for preorder right here. For more on The Charm the Fury, visit Facebook.com/thecharmthefury, Twitter.com/thecharmthefury, and Youtube.com/thecharmthefury.

New York rockers Cilver have teamed up with Revolver to premiere the new music video for their debut single, "In My Head," featuring Bumblefoot of Guns N' Roses.

"'In My Head' is the reaction to the pressure you feel from a society that strives to hide its imperfections," says Cilver's Uliana Preotu. "We all think about smashing and burning all the things around us that make us feel ugly, fake or second class. It's easy to feel like that when everything is photoshopped, scripted or perfect. That's not life. That's not rock and roll."

The single "In My Head" is available now at all digital retailers. For more about Cilver, visit their official website and Facebook page. And be sure to check out "In My Head" on Soundcloud and the "In My Head" lyric video!

Today, RevolverMag.com presents the exclusive premiere of Upon Wings' new music video for "Afterlife," featuring guest vocals and production from Brett Hestla (Dark New Day, former Creed).

"The idea of the song, and the video, is based around the experience of losing a loved one and coming through that with the faith you'll see that person again," said frontwoman Anne Autumn Erickson (pictured above). "The vision for the video evolved over time. The idea was for a more traditional-looking video at first, but as we started to put together a theme, it took on a more contemporary feel."

"Afterlife" is from the Michigan-based band's upcoming EP by the same name, which will be released March 5. The single is available now from iTunes and AmazonMP3.

Kid Rock recording engineer and Grammy-nominated mixing engineer Glenn Brown mastered the EP, and more assistance came from Canadian producer and guitarist Kevin Jardine and drummer Peter Tzaferis. Recording sessions for the single took place at Johnny K's Groovemaster Studios in Chicago, where Disturbed, 3 Doors Down, Staind and countless others have laid down tracks.
