Nashville-based noise rock group Today Is the Day recently released the 20th anniversary deluxe edition of their acclaimed 1997 album 'Temple of the Morning Star.' Today, the band has teamed up with Revolver to premiere the acoustic rendition and music video (directed by David Hall) for the title track. Check it out below and let us know what you think in the comments!

Frontman Steve Austin said, "'Temple of the Morning Star' was made late at night alone in an industrial warehouse that my studio was in. I was homeless and living there just trying to survive. No family, no love. I had broken up with my girlfriend, and my life was in a fast downward spiral that I was living through. I had been listening a lot to Shake with John McLaughlin. I was impressed with the ultra fast middle eastern acoustic guitar playing. I wrote the song in a stream of conscious. When it was complete, I decided that the track would be the theme for the record. I was in pain, filled with loneliness and anger.

"Feeling kicked out and pushed out by everyone and I needed something to relate to. 'Temple of The Morning Star' was a declaration of freedom and independence that made it clear that I will not compromise myself or the things I believe in for acceptance from anyone. You have to be yourself, even when it hurts."

Obey the Brave have shared their official music video for the song "Drama," which will appear on their forthcoming studio album, 'Mad Season.' The effort is due on June 2 via Epitaph Records. The clip can be seen below.

Frontman Alex Erian said, "Sonically and visually, this new song and video mark a new turn in our career. We stepped out of our comfort zone and drove ourselves to new limits, trying out different ideas while maintaining the heaviness and energy from our 'Young Blood' days. As soon as I heard that riff, all I could hear in my head was Steve's voice over and over again. He and I have been writing and performing together in Despised Icon for 15 years. That chemistry definitely shines on this single."
