Last night (April 25th), Slipknot played to 850 lucky maggots at a tiny venue in the middle of the California desert called Pappy & Harriet's.
The gig marked Slipknot's first show of 2024, their first with their not-so-mysterious new drummer, and the debut of their new masks — which call back to the 1999 era that Slipknot are celebrating the 25th anniversary of for the rest of this year.
The setlist leaned heavy on the oldies from Slipknot and Iowa, and given the small stage and the red jumpsuits they were donning, it genuinely looked like a Slipknot show from back in the late Nineties.
