Melvins frontman Buzz Osborne, a.k.a. King Buzzo, and Mr. Bungle bassist Trevor Dunn have announced the "King Dunn Tour" for this summer. The trek, which is scheduled to kick off August 1st in Pioneertown, California, will mark Osborne's second-ever solo run and come 10 years after his last solo performances.

The two heavy-music trailblazers are frequent collaborators, with Dunn appearing on King Buzzo's 2020 album, Gift of Sacrifice, and performing in Melvins Lite, as well as both of them being members of the supergroup Fantômas alongside Mike Patton and Dave Lombardo.

On the King Dunn Tour, Dunn will play a stand-up concert bass, while Osborne will sing and play acoustic guitar.

"I've been waiting a LONG time to do an acoustic tour with Trevor," Osborne commented. "He's a fantastic player, and has the ability to make his bass sound like an oil tanker crashing into a coral reef."

Tickets will go on sale this Friday, January 26th, at 10 a.m. local time. J.D. Pinkus (Butthole Surfers, Melvins) is set to open on all dates. Check out the full itinerary below.
