See Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds' Fiery "From Her to Eternity" Live Performance

Post-punk/goth icons revisit classic 1984 track for new live EP 'Distant Sky'

In signature evangelical, rock & roll zealot style, Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds have released another stunning performance taken from the Copenhagen, Denmark concert filmed and recorded for the group's upcoming EP Distant Sky. Cave and his six-piece band seem possessed while delivering the title track from their landmark 1984 album. With his ever-transcendent grasp firmly directing the audience, the singer holds intensity through the song's quiet points before joining violinist Warren Ellis is a hypnotic whirling dance during the chaotic upswings while the group behind them rages into spirited musical climaxes during the epic nine-minute piece.

Cave's more than 40-year career shows no signs of slowing, with the performer reaching perhaps the pinnacle of his success this year with a tour of some of the largest venues in the United States and abroad including The Forum in Los Angeles and Barclay's Center in Brooklyn, New York. A departure from the group's usual smaller runs doing multiple nights in theater-sized venues, the shows are sure to aptly showcase the larger-than-life presence of the Australian crooner and his exceptionally talented backing band.

If that's not enough to assuage your Nick Cave & TBS needs, check out the original score for the recent film Kings, starring Halle Berry and Daniel Craig and scored by the unstoppable duo of Cave and Ellis in their off time from full-band duties. The album is available now on all platforms now here
