On December 16th, Metallica held their third Helping Hands Concert benefiting the band's All Within My Hands foundation. The metal giants played a unique two-part set — the first part, acoustic; the second, electric — that included the first-ever performance of Metallica's ripping November single, "Lux Æterna." The acoustic section also featured some special surprises, specifically, the live debuts of two all-new cover songs: Thin Lizzy's "Borderline" and UFO's "It's Killing Me."
Earlier this week, Metallica offered up official, pro-shot video of their performance of the latter; today (December 29th), they've dropped a clip for the former. Watch above.
The full 2022 Helping Hands Concert is available for pay-for-view on Paramount+. Metallica's new album, 72 Seasons, is due out April 14th.
