Poppy is gearing up for the release of her highly anticipated new metal-infused album, I Disagree, in January. She just dropped a banging, industrialized new single "BLOODMONEY" earlier this week, and last week she stole the show at WWE's NXT event in Orlando, Florida, where she played the LP's title track as well as her collaborative single with the Fever 333, "Scary Mask," the latter during pro wrestler Io Shirai's high-octane entrance. Now, to give fans whose minds were blown and curiosity peaked by Poppy's surreal appearance, WWE Performance Center has dropped a new video taking viewers behind the scenes. Io Shirai pops up in interview footage, enthusing over how "amazing" it was to work with Poppy and why the two of them had such "nice chemistry." The NXT superstar notes that the singer reminds her of "the Japanese kawaii style" and "Harajuku style." She also relays her connection to the song "Scary Mask": "She has two faces — like me! Nice Io and not nice Io." Watch above.
