The most brutal reunion of all time is getting an extension into 2024. Last year, Dethklok — the real-life version of the cartoon Metalocalypse band — released their first album in 10 years, Dethalbum IV, and embarked on their first tour in 11 trips around the sun.

It wasn't a surefire thing that the band would continue grinding away, but at least for the time being they are. Today (February 6th), Dethklok have announced a spring 2024 headlining tour where they'll be traveling around the U.S. with power-metal maestros Dragonforce and melodeath goofballs Nekrogoblikon.

Dubbed the "Mutilation on a Spring Night" tour, the trek will begin April 7th in Myrtle Beach and snake throughout the U.S., mostly in the Midwest and on the West Coast, before concluding May 3rd in Portland.

"I love bands that celebrate guitar and bands that have a lot of fun onstage," Dethklok mastermind Brendon Small said in a press release. "I also love bands that don't, but for this tour, I think it makes sense to have a lot of dragons, goblins, and 'kloks together.

"If you're going to do this, you gotta go big and over the top. This is going to be a very fun show for people."

Tickets go on sale Friday February 9th at 10 a.m. local time. See the dates below.
