Mastodon are hitting the road later this fall. Last week, the prog-metal veterans — and current Revolver cover stars — announced that their new double album, Hushed and Grim, will arrive October 29th, and today (September 14th) they've shared that they're taking the record on a 2021 U.S. co-headlining tour with Opeth alongside support from Zeal & Ardor.
The 16-date trek begins November 14th at the Welcome to Rockville Festival in Daytona Beach, FL, where they'll join a lineup that includes Metallica, Disturbed, Mudvayne and more. From there, they'll travel up the east coast to New York, circle back down south for a few dates in Texas and then venture out west for a handful of shows that conclude in Denver on December 5th.
Special Blabbermouth.net and Knotfest.com pre-sale tickets go live Wednesday September 15th at 10 a.m., while general on-sale begins Friday September 17th at the same time.
