It's a big day for Chelsea Wolfe fans. The gothic singer-songwriter has revealed her signing to Loma Vista Recordings (home of Ghost, HEALTH, Denzel Curry and others), and is celebrating the news by dropping a smoky, trip-hop-inflected new song called "Dusk," and announcing a massive North American tour.
The haunting, slowly expanding new single is Wolfe's first solo song in a long while. She worked extensively with Tyler Bates on the 2022 soundtrack for A24's X film, and teamed up with Converge on 2021's post-metal journey, Bloodmoon: I, but it's been since 2019's Birth of Violence that Wolfe released a proper solo album.
While there's no word on a full album, "Dusk" feels like a promising start to a new rollout. Listen above via YouTube.
Next year, Wolfe will be heading out on an extensive North American headlining tour with support from Divide and Dissolve. The trek kicks off February 27th in San Diego and wraps up March 30th in Los Angeles, with stops throughout the U.S. and a few dates up in Canada.
