Evanescence Debut New Song, Announce Album Release Date

Hear latest 'The Bitter Truth' single "Yeah Right"

Throughout 2020, Evanescence have been dropping a bread crumb trail of singles — "Wasted on You", "The Game Is Over" and "Use My Voice" — leading up to their first album of original music in a decade, The Bitter Truth. Today (December 4th), that LP finally got its release date, March 26th, 2021, with pre-orders available now. The news arrives punctuated by another new song, "Yeah Right," which can be streamed above via YouTube. Featuring an infectious industrial groove, the latest single finds singer Amy Lee taking a cynical view of the group's experience thus far in the music industry. All album pre-orders will come with gratis downloads of the four already released singles.

Tomorrow (December 5th), Evanescence will play songs from The Bitter Truth, as well as fan favorites and surprise cuts, in their first public performance of the COVID era: a livestream concert dubbed Evanescence: A Live Session From Rock Falcon Studio. The virtual event is set to premiere on Saturday at 1 p.m. PT, 4 p.m. ET, 9 p.m. U.K. and 10 p.m. CET, and will be available through Tuesday, December 8th at 11:59 p.m. ET. Tickets can be purchased at EvanescenceLive.com.
