Japan's Babymetal have unleashed the first single, "Divine Attack - Shingeki -," off their recently announced concept album, The Other One, which is due in March. The epic song — which deviates from the kawaii-metal leaders' signature dance-y vibe, leaning into more of a post-metal approach, and features lyrics written by the band's Su-Metal for the first time — arrived today (October 20th) along with a visualizer video. As the concept behind The Other One goes, each of the 10 songs on the album represents a unique theme based on 10 parallel worlds discovered in an alternate dimension called the Metalverse. One of those worlds is Cavalry, which serves as the focus of "Divine Attack - Shingeki -." The song is the first of five pre-release digital singles to be rolled out ahead of the album, each respectively scheduled to release in October, November, January, February and March.
