Atlanta mathcore juggernaut announce new EP

There is no law, only the Callous Daoboys. The Atlanta mathcore renegades dropped one of the best albums of 2022, Celebrity Therapist, and now they're back with another helping.

Today, the Daoboys have announced a new EP called God Smiles Upon the Callous Daoboys, and they're previewing it with a totally batshit new song called "Waco Jesus." The track sounds like a stupefying mash-up of Nine Inch Nails, the Dillinger Escape Plan, and even a touch of Type O Negative in vocalist Carson Pace's sinewy clean delivery.

"'Waco Jesus' is about insecurity, projecting that insecurity and not doing anything to solve it regardless of how people are telling you to not be insecure," Pace said in a press statement. "It's about being unable to take a compliment."

The three-song God Smiles Upon the Callous Daoboys arrives in full October 20th via MNRK Heavy and Modern Static, and you can pre-order it here.
