Oh shit, some new Cannibal Corpse! It's only been a couple years since the Florida death-metal vets released their well-liked 2021 full-length, Violence Unimagined, but Corpsegrinder and Co. returned today with news that their next album is on the way. It's called Chaos Horrific, it's out later this fall via Metal Blade, and today (June 22nd) they've unleashed its monstrous first single, "Blood Blind."
Cannibal Corpse aren't pulling out any surprises here. This is a bludgeoning, entrails-twisting slab of flesh-eating death-metal that features all the tenets of their beloved sound. There's a really heavy, headbang-able groove part. A great solo. Some faster, blastier sections. And hideously gurgling vocals from Corpsegrinder.
