Hear DRAB MAJESTY's haunting new song "Vanity" with SLOWDIVE's Rachel Goswell

Off upcoming EP 'An Object in Motion'

Gothy L.A. post-punk duo Drab Majesty have announced a new four-song EP, titled An Object in Motion, and unveiled its lead single, the Cure-esque ballad "Vanity," which features a rare guest vocal appearance from Rachel Goswell, of the revered U.K. shoegaze outfit Slowdive. The song arrived today (June 6th) along with a fittingly haunting music video. Watch and listen above.

Drab Majesty's Deb Demure commented: "As a long time listener and devotee of Slowdive, a band that literally shaped my DNA as a listener and musician, it was truly humbling to have Rachel offer her iconic vocal stylings to this song. Her voice is a sonic treasure and unmistakable. I'm infinitely grateful to call her a friend and am still pinching myself wondering — how did we get here?"

Rachel Goswell added, "It's no secret that I am a longtime Drab Majesty fan so when Deb asked me some years ago now if I would be interested in collaborating it was an immediate yes. Honored to give my voice to 'Vanity.'"

An Object in Motion is due out August 25th via Dais Records and available for pre-order now.
