Fiddlehead have returned. The Boston post-hardcore band fronted by Have Heart singer Pat Flynn, and also featuring Basement guitarist Alex Henery, have casually become one of the biggest bands in modern hardcore over the last half-decade, especially following the warm reception to their 2021 LP, Between the Richness.

On August 18th, Fiddlehead will follow that up with their third album, Death Is Nothing to Us, and today (June 7th), they're teasing it with a fantastic lead single called "Sullenboy."

The song lands right in the Revolution Summer-style hardcore sweet-spot that Fiddlehead have been honing for years, except everything sounds punchier and more direct. The hook is catchy, the instrumentation is sleek but still aggressive, and Flynn's lyrics are as emotionally provocative as ever.
