Rap-rocker Hyro the Hero has just dropped a metallic cover of Busta Rhymes' 1996 hit single "Woo-Hah!! Got You All in Check."
The track comes from Hyro's upcoming studio album, Bound for Glory, which will drop September 15th via Better Noise Music. Stylistically, the cover retains its hip-hop based verses while turning up in the chorus, where Hyro introduces harsh vocals over blaring guitars.
"'Woo Hah' is my shout-out to the old-school classic hip-hop that made me," Hyro commented. "It's a Hyro the Hero-style spin on a track that taught me how to recognize the importance of standing out as an artist compared to everyone else. Busta Rhymes was spitting fire on this track, so you know I had to come correct."
