Earlier this month, the ever-prolific Melvins surprise-released a new album, Bad Mood Rising, exclusive on vinyl via noise-rock stronghold Amphetamine Reptile Records. A sludgy, 40-minute, six-track affair featuring Earth's Dylan Carlson on opener "Mister Dog Is Totally Right," the record has now finally hit digital streaming platforms — including YouTube, as embedded here — and it's well worth a listen.
Melvins are currently on the road on their fall headlining tour and will celebrate their 40th anniversary(!) in 2023.
