The mighty Obituary are crawling back out of the Florida swamps and gracing us with a new full-length. The death metal pioneers have announced a new record called Dying of Everything that's due out in January 2023 via Relapse Records. It's the death metal pioneers' 11th album overall and first in six years, following their 2017 self-titled record.
The album was self-produced by the band themselves, and lead single "The Wrong Time" is an incredibly promising taste of what's in-store. It's got an amazingly heavy lead riff, a punishing groove and all the haunting, zombie-dying atmosphere that make Obituary so special.
