Hear QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE's psychedelic new song "Carnavoyeur"

Second single off upcoming 'In Times New Roman...' album

Queens of the Stone Age's hotly anticipated new album, In Times New Roman… — the band's first in six years — is almost upon us. So far, fans have gotten to hear two songs: "Emotion Sickness," the LP's lead single, and "Negative Space," which Josh Homme and Co. recently debuted live at the Boston Calling festival. Today (May 31st), QOTSA offered up a third cut and the album's second single, "Carnavoyeur."

The song dials back some of the hard-rock punch of the aforementioned tunes, offering up a sadder, slinkier, more psychedelic and introspective side of the In Times New Roman... equation. "When there's nothing I can do, I smile...," Homme sings wryly, a seemingly resigned nod to the hard times he's been navigating in his personal life.

The single arrived accompanied by a fittingly trippy lyric video. Watch and listen above.

In Times New Roman… is due out June 16th via Matador and available for pre-order on vinyl now.
