Hear Sam Smith's "Unholy" Covered in Style of Ghost

YouTuber Anthony Vincent puts Tobias Forge-like spin on viral dance-pop song

YouTuber Anthony Vincent has done it again. The viral metal impressionist — who's covered Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody" in the form of System of a Down and Katy Perry's "Dark Horse" in the style of Type o Negative — has now covered the song "Unholy" by British pop sensation Sam Smith as if it were being played by occult-rock icons Ghost

Smith's original version of the hit song has a dark, sweaty pop vibe with foreboding bass wobbles — kind of like the Weeknd crossed with Billie Eilish. To make it more Ghost-y, Vincent adds in surges of distorted metal guitar and sings the hook with the gothic belt of Tobias Forge.

Like all of his videos, it's a pretty damn convincing mashup of metal and non-metal artistry. Watch him nail it above via YouTube.
