Last night (August 26th), Ghost kicked off the North American leg of their Imperatour tour with a massive 19-song set at the Pechanga Arena in San Diego, California. The stacked bill also featured main support from Mastodon, who played 11 cuts, including five off last year's acclaimed Hush and Grim double album, and an opening six-song performance from Canuck phenoms Spiritbox.
But the night belonged, of course, to Papa Emeritus IV and the Nameless Ghouls. The occult-rock troupe made things extra special with the live debut of "Watcher in the Sky," a fan favorite from the group's latest LP, 2022 Album of the Year contender Impera.
