Lesser Key: Hear Former TOOL Bassist's Band Cover "White Rabbit"

Paul D'Amour and Co. take on Jefferson Airplane classic

If you're not already in the know, Lesser Key are a progressive rock band featuring OG TOOL bassist Paul D'Amour, who provided the propulsive low end on Nineties landmarks Opiate and Undertow. The group released a self-titled EP via Sumerian Records in 2014 but have been largely quiet since then, with D'Amour joining industrial-metal pioneers Ministry and drummer Justin Hanson spending a few years in 3TEETH.

Now, out of the blue with little fanfare or explanation, they've resurfaced, dropping a trippy, eerie cover of Jefferson Airplane's psychedelic classic "White Rabbit," notably mixed by Opiate and Undertow producer Sylvia Massy. Between the ominous bassline, vaguely tribal drumming and vocalist Andrew Zamudio's pristine croon, it should make fans of TOOL, Deftones and, of course, Lesser Key themselves very happy.
