Christmas has come early for Misfits fans. Despite rampant rumors that the horror-punk pioneers' recent sold-out pre-Halloween show at New York City's Madison Square Garden would be the last of their heralded reunion run, the band just announced another concert, in Philadelphia on Saturday, December 14th. The gig, featuring "The Original Misfits" — a.k.a. singer Glenn Danzig and bassist Jerry Only joined by guitarists Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein and Acey Slade and drummer Dave Lombardo — will go down at the Wells Fargo Center with Dropkick Murphys and Agnostic Front playing in support. Tickets are set to go on sale Friday October 25th at 10 a.m., but the Fiend fan-club pre-sale starting Wednesday October 23rd at 10 a.m. EST using the code "OGMISFITS." Visit the Misfits website for ticket link and more info. If you're taken off guard at the news, you're not alone — even Lombardo admitted to being shocked, tweeting: "I'm as surprised as you are!"
