Meltdown, the annual, artist-curated music and arts festival, has been bringing enlightening noise and vision to London, England's Southbank Centre since June 15th, continuing through the 24th. The Cure's Robert Smith selected the lineup for the event's 25th incarnation, which includes Deftones, Nine Inch Nails, Placebo, My Bloody Valentine, 65daysofstatic, Alcest, Planning for Burial and Emma Ruth Rundle. Last night (June 21th) post-rock titans Mogwai played the fest, and photographer Nick Sayers was there to catch all the action. See his evocative shots above and below.
