Today (June 22nd), Ozzy Osbourne offered up "Degradation Rules," the first of two new collaborative songs with his Black Sabbath bandmate Tony Iommi that appear on the Prince of Darkness' upcoming solo album, Patient Number 9. The single features Iommi's signature heavy riffery and even some wailing harmonica hearkening back to classic Sabbath. It also features lyrics all about — what for it — masturbation.
During a chat with friend and fellow musician Billy Morrison on Sirius XM's Ozzy's Boneyard channel, the heavy-metal godfather hinted at the rather un-godfatherly theme.
"You know what it's about, don't you?" he asked Morrison, who responded, "Is [it] that the lyrics [mention] 'masturbation' and 'red'? The RedTube thing is funny. I mean, that's really funny." Ozzy added, "Yeah, it's — I didn't know."
