Rob Halford has revealed that Pink is a huge Judas Priest fan. Yes, the pop-star who's famous for Top 40 hits like "So What" and " and Just Give Me a Reason" was seriously into the NWOBHM heroes when she was growing up, which is what Halford learned during a recent interaction with the millennial-era celebrity.

In a new interview with Metal Hammer, Halford revealed that when Judas Priest performed at last year's Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony, he was approached backstage by a couple pop superstars who complimented his music.

Pink was one of them, and she opened up to the Metal God about how much his band meant to her during her childhood years.

"Pink came up to me and said, 'I need to tell you something,' and I was thinking, 'Oh god, what have we done?'" Halford recalled. "She said when she was in school, she and her friends used to stencil the Judas Priest logo on their notebooks!

"Then Sheryl Crow came up to me and she said, 'I love your voice, it's amazing!' All of these things solidify the fact that your music can reach and connect with people you'd never expect."

The vocal nod from Crow is definitely cool, but from what Halford said, Pink is clearly the bigger fan of the two. You have to be more than a passing admirer to scribble a band's logo on your notebook, and for a band with a metal-ass logo like Priest, it means that Pink has an appreciation for aggressive metal imagery. Wicked.
