"Military style flamethrowers" found in house

More details are slowly emerging about the events surrounding Cannibal Corpse guitarist Pat O'Brien's December 11th arrest in Florida for aggravated assault and burglary, including neighbor commentary about the fire that consumed the guitarist's home, and the news that military-grade flame throwers were found inside his residence, making the fire much more difficult to fight. Footage posted by 10News WTSP (see above) shows the aftermath of the incident: collapsed roofs, broken windows and walls reduced to ash are visible, with sections of the home built in stone seemingly spared.

Nearby residents expressed their shock, one claiming O'Brien seemed "just like a regular neighbor. Get out of the car, go to the house, that's about it." Another witness thought the sounds coming from the house were nearby fireworks before looking outside to see flames shooting "high in the sky" from O'Brien's home. When Hillsborough County Fire Rescue arrived at the scene they discovered that live ammunition rounds and flamethrowers were exploding inside the house. Homes in the vicinity were evacuated following the incident as a bomb squad was brought in to investigate the house further.

O'Brien has been charged with "Aggravated Assault on a Law Enforcement Officer with Deadly Weapon and Burglary Occupied Dwelling with Assault or Battery," according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office. He is currently being held Hillsborough County Jail, and his bail has been set at $50,000.
