See Avenged Sevenfold Deliver Powerful "Hail to the King" Acoustic Performance

A7X are backed by string section in footage shot at October's Grammy Museum concert

Avenged Sevenfold have shared professionally shot footage capturing a powerful acoustic rendition of "Hail to the King" from their concert at the Grammy Museum, which took place on October 19th at Los Angeles' Clive Davis Theater. It arrives in the wake of Live At the Grammy Museum, the Californians' audio recording of the concert, released earlier this month.

It's been a busy, busy month for Avenged Sevenfold. Beyond receiving their first-ever Grammy nomination for "The Stage" (which is up for "Best Rock Song"), they're about to drop an expanded edition of their 2016 full-length, of the same name, with previously unheard covers and new material. In a recent interview with Revolver, frontman M. Shadows outlined the band's future plans:

"The next step is to continue down that path, and to continue to put out records that are in line with what this new vision is — and our age," he said. "We don't want to sound like 18-year-old kids playing. We're 36 years old and Brooks [Wackerman, drummer] is 40. We want to make great rock music that hearkens back to classic rock, progressive metal and keep doing what we love."
