Korn's new album, The Nothing, is due out this Friday, September 13th, and it's a cathartic affair that draws on the extreme emotions of singer Jonathan Davis and his bandmates after the tragic death of Davis' wife Deven last year. To say that it's an ideal soundtrack for breaking shit may be an understatement. Picking up on that idea, the band recently arranged a special listening party for a few lucky fans at a Rage Room — you know, one of those places where you throw on some protective gear and then get out your angst by smashing the fuck out of a bunch of random stuff. To top it all off, Korn guitarist James "Munky" Shaffer made a surprise appearance and, of course, he had to join in on the destructive fun. See a zippy video recap of all the action above, and for more on The Nothing, read our recent interview with Shaffer on the making of the album.
