System of a Down Announce First U.S. Shows in Three Years

Band to play Sacramento's Aftershock Festival amid brief North American tour

System of a Down have announced a brief North American tour, their first U.S. dates in over three years. The trek kicks off October 13th with a massive show in San Bernadino, California, featuring support from Incubus, At the Drive-In, Clutch, Pallbearer and Skeletonwitch. Following an appearance at the Aftershock Festival in Sacramento, California, they'll play gigs in Phoenix, San Diego and Las Vegas alongside At the Drive-In and Skeletonwtich. System of a Down's last U.S. show was held at Los Angeles venue the Forum on April 6th, 2015. The band has yet to announce a long-rumored follow-up to 2005's Hypnotize. Last December, SOAD frontman Serj Tankian shared a previously unreleased solo track, "Industrialized Overload."
