Metalcore mainstays unveil epic visual for latest 'Phantom Anthem' single

Last week, August Burns Red unveiled "The Frost," a dramatic, djent-flavored new track from their upcoming album Phantom Anthem. Three days after premiering the track, the Pennsylvania metalcore stalwarts have shared its accompanying visual. The effects-laden clip, directed by Samuel Halleen and Dan Fusselman and produced by Bret Kalmbach, maintains the meteorological motif seen in August Burns Red's teaser for the song, albeit with a noticable uptick in grandeur. The band power through its sprawling epic in a barren, industrial room, subjected to Mother Nature's wrath in all its forms — and yet, just like the trusty United States Postal Service, neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night can stay these rockers from their deafening rounds.

Phantom Anthem hits shelves October 7th via Fearless. In addition to "The Frost," the record contains the brutal "Invisible Enemy," the nightmare-inducing visual for which stars puppet versions of the band. August Burns Red recently stopped by Revolver HQ for a live Q&A during which they took fan questions about the album, touring life and other topics. Check that out below.
