Watch Post Malone Scream Pantera's "Walk" at NYC Karaoke Session

Brooklyn band Beach Fossils captured metal-loving rapper during late-night hang

Post Malone makes no secret of his deep and enduring love for all things heavy metal, from his Dimebag Darrell tattoo to his 2019 team-up with Ozzy Osbourne on the hit single "Take What You Want" to his recent appearance at Slayer's final show ever. The rapper once again displayed his love for the heavy stuff by paying tribute to Texan groove-metal stalwarts Pantera during a late-night karaoke session in New York City alongside Brooklyn indie rockers Beach Fossils. The musicians gathered 'round the mic to spit out a few rhymes over a simple beat before switching gears to scream "Walk" with the unhinged, gleeful aggression of any passionate metalhead (see the full video at bottom of this post).

"Wot U know bout that New York shit?!" captioned the local rockers in their snapshot showing Malone posted up with bandleader Dustin Payseur behind an unnamed bar, cigarette and microphone both cradled in one hand. "TIMBS ON MY HANDS / TIMBS ON MY FEET ... walk." The brief clip has racked up nearly 16,000 likes since going up.

At the final Slayer show, Post had a chance to hang with Pantera's own Philip Anselmo, who posted a pic with the young megastar back on December 2nd, which he captioned, "New blood meets old blood... it was a real pleasure to meet @postmalone , genuine & genuinely nice kid. The nieces & nephews are definitely jealous."
