Slipknot have had a massive 2019, complete with a critically lauded and commercially successful new album, We Are Not Your Kind, new masks and even a new mystery band member, and the inaugural Knotfest Roadshow tour, with Volbeat, Gojira and Behemoth. They recently announced the first-ever Knotfest at Sea cruise and Knotfest U.K., both of which will go down in 2020, following a two-month European trek and a quick swing through Asia (see dates below). Considering their big year, the Nine weren't about to let 2019 roll out quietly — not without dropping another creative nail bomb. That explosive detonated today (December 16th) in the form of the new music video for We Are Not Your Kind standout "Nero Forte," one of the heaviest cuts on the LP and a quick fan favorite. The clip — directed by M. Shawn "Clown" Crahan, who has helmed the group's cinematic output for a while now — is a Neon Demon–esque nightmare, colorful, sleek and sinister, that captures the band throwing down, joined by a writhing figure encased in a slimy, placental-looking sack.
