New Ozzy Osbourne music is set to arrive in just a couple days. The Great Ozz took to Instagram to offer a brief yet exciting message — "new music coming Friday" (June 24th), along with the hashtag #PatientNumber9. Along with the text, he shared a 20-second clip of what appears to be a music video for the new song titled "Patient Number 9."
There's not a whole lot to go off of musically, just a few ominous strums, some haunting mumbles and a fierce cackle that builds up to what sounds like the song's first verse. Thankfully, we only have to wait two days to hear the track in full, which means that we'll probably also glean some more information about Ozzy's upcoming album, which he confirmed was finished back in April. What we know about Ozzy's 13th album is that it's produced by Andrew Watt (who did 2020's Ordinary Man) and that it's filled with A-list collaborators including Tony Iommi, Duff McKagan, Robert Trujillo, Chad Smith, Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Zakk Wylde, Josh Homme and many others. Hopefully we'll know more by the end of the week.
