Hear OZZY OSBOURNE wail on BILLY MORRISON's new song "Crack Cocaine"

Ozzman's first vocal performance since 'Patient Number 9'

Back in January, Billy Morrison — the longtime rhythm guitarist in Billy Idol's band and former bassist for The Cult — announced his star-studded new album, The Morrison Project, which features guest appearances from the likes of Slipknot's Corey Taylor, Ministry's Al Jourgensen, Mötley Crüe's John 5 and others.

One of those others is none other than Ozzy Osbourne, who provides his inimitable voice to the bluesy song "Crack Cocaine," which Morrison has released today (March 21st) as a new single. The heavy-metal icon co-wrote the song with Morrison and guitarist Steve Stevens, working in the same room together.

Ozzy and Morrison go way back. The longtime friends co-host the "Ozzy Speaks" showo on SiriusXM, and the Black Sabbath singer actually appeared on Morrison's 2015 song "Gods of Rock N Roll," as well.

"Crack Cocaine" is a metallurgic blues stomper that wouldn't sound out of place on any of the Prince of Darkness' recent solo efforts. Watch its music video — which stars another kind of royalty, Paris Jackson — above via YouTube.

Morrison commented: "The music was a direct result of sitting in a room with Steve, both with de-tuned guitars, and writing what we felt was an ultimate Ozzy riff. From there, we brought Ozzy over, and we all sat around working on the lyrics, but 90 percent of those came from Ozzy himself. He's the one that suddenly stood up and sang, 'Like Crack Cocaine'!! We looked at each other and knew we had the title!!"

The song marks the Great Ozz's first recorded release since his 2022 album Patient Number 9. The metal godfather has expressed a desire to make a follow-up LP, once again with producer Andrew Watt.

The Morrison Project arrives in full on April 19th.
