Architects are trying something different with their new material. Next month, the U.K. metalcore titans will release their 10th album, the classic symptoms of a broken spirit, and the first two singles added stiff, chugging industrial riffs and beaming synths into their digitized new style of heavy music. Today (August 30th), they've dropped another new cut called "deep fake" that once again offers a fresh spin on the band's classic sound.

Sam Carter's melodic vocals are more front and center than ever and the breakdowns — while still heavy as hell — are a little sleeker and more refined than what the band have released in the past. Still, "deep fake" is an instantly catchy banger. Listen above while you watch its music video via YouTube.

The classic symptoms of a broken spirit is due out October 21st via Epitaph Records and is now available for pre-order in a variety of formats. One of those is a Revolver-exclusive "clear" colored vinyl variant that's limited to just 500 copies worldwide. Get yours from our shop!
