Philadelphia shoegaze kingpins Nothing took over their hometown venue Union Transfer over the weekend (March 9th) for an all-day shoegaze extravanganza dubbed Slide Away Fesival.
The first-ever edition of the fest, helmed by Nothing frontman Domenic Palermo, boasted eight bands that together encapsulate all eras of the genre's history: Swirlies, Loveliescrushing, They Are Gutting a Body of Water, Mint Field, Knifeplay, Astrobrite and Glixen.
Oh, and Nothing, of course, who headlined the whole affair with a full-album playthrough of their rip-roaring 2014 debut, Guilty of Everything.
It was a loud and deliriously fun affair, and photographers Cam Smith and Seana Adame were there to capture all the action — see standout shots below.
