When we interviewed Mixi, Vocalist for Stitched Up Heart, for our Hottest Chicks in Hard Rock issue (See page 50), we discussed several topics, including their wildest fans, gifts and encounters.

Unfortunately, due to space constraints, we couldn't include all of the interview. But that's what the Internet is for! Read what she has to say below!

REVOLVER What's the wildest experience you've had at a party?
MIXI I went with a bunch of friends to a party at a nudist colony. I think I will just leave the rest up to your imagination.

What's the wildest experience you've ever had with a fan?
We seem to end up ghost hunting on the road often. One particular occasion was at the Melrose Hotel in Durango, Colorado. I saw two apparitions of the woman whose husband used to own the old hotel and had just recently confessed to murdering her. They gave each of the four members of our band our own room that night. I was so spooked out that I slept in the van.

What's the wildest or most bizarre thing you've ever seen a fan do?
We had one tour where people got naked a lot. Our drummer Decker told the crowd to get naked in Vermillion, South Dakota and a guy stripped down in the mosh pit. It must have been really cold out that night because, well…

What's the wildest thing you've ever seen happen in the crowd?
In Albuquerque, New Mexico there was a dude in a wheelchair and a blind guy in the mosh pit just tearing it up. Eventually, I pulled the blind guy on stage. I'm not sure if he knew he was actually on the stage at the time. His friends told him afterwards.

What's the worst reaction you've gotten from a crowd? Where was it and what happened?
Crazy people entertain me. We have a ninja in the band though so it's all good. In our song "Grave" we stop the music and play dead for an awkwardly long time at one point in the song. We usually start the song back up when someone yells out something obscene. In Tulsa, Oklahoma the crowd didn't say a word for, like, five minutes. We sat there in silence, lying on the stage for what seemed like forever. It was so quiet you could hear the bartender mixing drinks and the cars outside.

Have you ever been in a dangerous situation with or from a fan?
I got a random message from a friend once saying I really needed to be careful because there's some crazy guy at the Rainbow asking everyone where I was and where I lived. This guy was a bit creepy. Online, there were photos of him with slaughtered boars. Luckily, he never came out when we played as we had security keeping an eye out.

Any good stories about weird gifts you've received from fans?
I have the largest collection of My Little Pony's. The kids know I'm all about the M.L.P.

What's the coolest gift you've gotten from a fan?
I am honored when people tattoo our logo on them. It's there for life and it means a lot that they care that much.

When we interviewed Elize Ryd, vocalist for Amaranthe, for our Hottest Chicks in Hard Rock issue (See page 50), we discussed several topics, including their wildest fans, gifts and encounters.

Unfortunately, due to space constraints, we couldn't include all of the interview. But that's what the Internet is for! Read what she has to say below!

REVOLVER How do you deal with creepy fans or stalkers?
ELIZE RYD Hmm. It's a tough one, but I guess I don't see anyone as creepy or stalking. People are different and they just show their dedication in different ways. If someone is acting, or like giving me strange gifts—which have happened—at least it gives me an interesting story to tell to my family and friend. So in the end, even the bad experiences brings something good in the end.

What's the coolest gift you've gotten from a fan?
I've gotten so many awesome gifts—like a handmade knife from Japan, a clothing hanger with my signature in steel, really nice special designed jewelery, shoes, and touching personal letters.

Have you ever been in a dangerous situation with or from a fan?
No. I'm very selective when it comes to these things. I might be wild but I'm very careful when I'm on the road to make sure I don't end up in situations that can be dangerous. I must say that we have the cutest fans, so I'm never scared when I'm around them.

Have you ever fangirled over anyone?
I think Freddie Mercury from Queen was the hottest. I love his teeth.

What's the wildest thing you've done that almost got you in trouble with the law?
I accidentally caused trouble and got someone else arrested. My friend was yelling at the staff of a 7-11 because they didn't allow me to sit down on their chair. I really needed to rest my feet after a long night at the club. That was an interesting night.

When we interviewed Liv Jagrell, vocalist for Sister Sin, for our Hottest Chicks in Hard Rock issue (See page 50), we discussed several topics, including wildest fans, gifts and encounters.

Unfortunately, due to space constraints, we couldn't include all of the interview. But that's what the Internet is for! Read what she has to say below!

REVOLVER What's the wildest experience you've ever had with a fan?
LIV JAGRELL For me, to see a fan with a tattoo of my autograph is pretty wild. I have wonderful fans who send me stuff from all over the world that I can't get here in Sweden, so that's wild for me and damn amazing.

There are a couple of girls who think they look like me and they email me, telling me that if I need a double one day that they are at my service. It's a bit odd and also a bit creepy, 'cause some of them even have the same type of tattoos as I do. Future reference–I do not require a body double, thank you ladies.

What's the wildest thing you've ever seen happen in the crowd?
A couple had sex in front of the stage while we were performing one show in U.K.—I think it was at Hammerfest, that was pretty crazy. But they seemed to like the combo of Sister Sin and sex so that's nice. No problem.

What's the worst reaction you've gotten from a crowd? Where was it and what happened?
At one or two shows in U.K. and Germany it felt like it didn't matter how much we all worked them, the crowd was just stiff as hell. One time in Finland [guitarist] Jimmy [Hiltula] had a little bit too much red wine, beer and vodka. He didn't play that well and we had to shorten our set. After that we got a few bad responses.

Any good stories about weird gifts you've received from fans?
I've been blessed with getting super wonderful gifts! I've gotten paintings of me, scarves, flowers, protein bars and other healthy stuffs. My fans know me and I'm so happy to have so many of them–they're all so wonderful to me! Actually, I just got a super cool jacket from a guy in the U.S. But I also find the paintings very, very cool. Especially when it's from a young girl. It moves my heart so much if I can be an inspiration to them. I want to be that super cool girl idol that I never had. As a young girl in this world and in this business, it is important to have strong female idols, at least I think so.

As a music fan, who do you think is totally hot and why?
Adam Levine from Maroon 5. It's something with his eyes, and also I like his voice very much, even if it's not my kind of music. He has a very special voice, you either love his voice or hate it. And I just love it!

When we interviewed Bec Hollcraft, vocalist for Stars In Stereo, for our Hottest Chicks in Hard Rock issue (See page 50), we discussed several topics, including their wildest fans, gifts and encounters.

Unfortunately, due to space constraints, we couldn't include all of the interview. But that's what the Internet is for! Read what she has to say below!

What's the wildest thing you've ever seen happen in the crowd?
BEC HOLLCRAFT On the Halestorm tour, we saw a guy crowd surfing in his wheelchair. I loved seeing the support of the audience with that.

How do you deal with creepy fans or stalkers?
Luckily I have three dudes in my band that can help me deal with anyone that is bothering me. It's usually not too threatening at shows, they just won't leave me alone and kind of stare. I treat everyone with respect, they aren't trying to harm me. I let them know I appreciate their support and I just try to cut the conversation short.

What's the coolest gift you've gotten from a fan?
We have a fan that is so genius, he built a robot for NASA and now has some secret government job that he can't even tell us about. He created sound sensitive light boxes of our logo that he gave to us. The logo was also a map of every show he had been too. My light box in particular was made to react to a higher frequency so it would light up to my voice.

Can you think of an example of something you said or did that was severely misinterpreted by a fan or fans?
We made this video for "Leave Your Mark" that is a whole bunch of different fetishes played out in people's minds. It was basically filmed like a porno in order to get the best shots. The reason we did a video like this was to convey the lyrics of the song, which, among many things, is about sexual liberation. Feeling loved in your skin, whatever kinks you may have. To literally have someone leave their mark on you. We didn't want to tip toe around anything because the message is important to us. There were fans who thought we had lost our minds and wouldn't even watch the video. They still liked our music but couldn't accept this message. People thought I was just sexualizing myself to get attention or something, that bothered me. Especially considering I had all my clothes on. I think ones sexuality is like a weapon and it can be misused if for the wrong reasons. Our video was for the right reasons, but some people see sex and just can't handle it. It took a long time for the video to even find a home on the internet.

As a music fan, who do you think is totally hot and why?
I think talent is the sexiest thing of all. Confidence is right under that. I want to celebrate women in the industry so I will not be shy with this list. I think Kimberly Freeman is totally hot because she's shreds on guitar, holds her own, and has a quirkiness that is unique to her beautiful self. I think Agnete Kjølsrud is hot because her voice is so wicked that I have no idea how she achieves that sound and it blows my mind. I think the Butcher Babies are hot, more because of their confidence on stage than because of their gorgeous appearances. They just have the best time ever up there, dominating that stage, and that is infectious. I think The Veronicas are hot because it's literally two of the best voices paired with the best looking girls who wear the coolest clothes in one group. Yes, they are identical twins, but their personalities are both strong and individual and they are very outspoken and trying to make a difference. I think Alissa White-Gluz is a stunning beast of a woman whose voice could probably ignite fires that little demons would dance in. She's also a fellow vegan so of course that's hot as hell. OK, I'll stop.

Halestorm's Lzzy Hale appears on the cover of the next issue of Revolver, which will hit newsstands on February 10 and is available for purchase online right now. You can view the cover below.

You also can read an excerpt from the issue's cover story, written by Senior Writer Dan Epstein. In this section, the frontwoman discusses wild fan gifts, who she fangirled over, and Ronnie Jame Dio's advice.

What's the wildest gift you've ever received from a fan?
Oh, there's so many [laughs]. Some fans came up to me and gave me a gold-painted wooden box. I opened the box, and inside was a gold pacifier that they had made, with a chain so it could go around my neck, and fangs to attach to it. It was a very creative gift, though I'm not sure exactly what they were thinking. I still have it, though I have no idea what to do with it. They were like, "We figured you'd appreciate this." And I was like, "Uh, yeah, of course!" Who wouldn't want a gold pacifier with attachable fangs, with a chain that goes around your neck so you don't lose it and a gold box to put it in? Who wouldn't appreciate that?

Are there any rock stars that you're currently obsessed with? Is there anyone that you've completely lost your shit over when you met them?
You know, I've been very fortunate to actually meet a lot of the people who have influenced me. My inner 14-year-old died a little when I got to meet Tom Keifer and play with him. You meet a lot of these people, and when you play and tour and talk and hang out with them, they become more like your peers and your brothers and sisters. But then you have those moments where you're like, "Holy shit!" You revert back to your 14-year-old self and you're like, "Uhhhhh… I don't know what to say, but you're awesome!" [Laughs] I was totally like that with Ronnie James Dio when we played with Heaven and Hell.

I imagine at this point you've also been on the other side of that, where fans come up to talk to you and then suddenly forget how to speak. How do you deal with that?
Oh, it's so wonderful, but it's also extremely humbling. It's hard for me to think about myself as someone that can evoke that kind of reaction. Honestly, I'm still the same person I was when I started this band—I'm very immature, and I'm not cool in any way. So it's really weird to be in that position. At the same time I really appreciate it, so you want to make sure that they feel good and that they feel comfortable, because I would want that as a fan. When we played with Heaven and Hell we saw Ronnie outside the buses signing everything for everybody, and taking every picture. And after he was done—this was at about two in the morning—he came back to our RV that we were touring in at the time and made sure that he said goodbye to us. I was like, "Okay, I'm going to totally try to have a conversation with him and not be just a stupid fangirl." So I said to him, "You're so wonderful—we just watched you sign for all these people, and I'm sure they would have understood if you were just tired and wanted to go to sleep." He looked at me, and he said, "Lzzy, it's a moment in time that you share with these people. You're never gonna remember their names, you're never gonna remember the venue you played, but they're gonna remember meeting you for the rest of their lives. So you make it good for every single one of them." And I'm like, "Yes, Uncle Ronnie! Yes!" I do think about that a lot. It's such a small kindness that you can give to somebody—you give them a pick, or you give them a piece of jewelry, or you take a picture with them or you sign a piece of paper. It's no effort on your part, but it makes their world when you do that stuff. And you do get a little bit addicted to that, because you see the happiness you can bring to somebody and that it doesn't take that much. So there's really no excuse not to do it.

According to Huntress frontwoman Jill Janus, guitarist Eli Santana was arrested after a fight outside a show on January 25.

The fight took place outside The Sugarmill in Stoke-on-Trent, England. Janus reported in a tour blog with Loudwire: "As the boys were walking towards the van, a kid—we'll call him Drunk Wanker—yelled "terrorist" at Eli Santana. And then it all went to s–t within seconds. A group of English boys surrounded Eli and started beating him. Eli fought back, Ian and Tyler jumped in to protect him. Blake was already in the driver's seat, and before he could get out of the van, Eli was put into handcuffs and thrown into a police car."

Santana was held in jail for 16 hours so, the band was forced to perform that night with one guitarist down.

However, Santana was released after police gained video evidence of the fight which proved his innocence.
