AVENGED SEVENFOLD's first festival show in 5 years: See setlist and videos

Deathbat crew took over Welcome to Rockville

They did it — again! Last night (May 19th), Avenged Sevenfold played their first headlining festival set in five years at Welcome to Rockville, which was slated to be their big return to the stage before they had a last-minute headlining show in Las Vegas last weekend.

Still, this was still a huge moment for the Deathbat crew, who are just a couple weeks out from dropping their long-awaited new album, Life Is but a Dream..., their first LP since 2016's The Stage

Like last week's performance in Vegas, A7X's setlist was a blend of old and new. The obligatory hits like "Bat Country," "Afterlife" and "Unholy Confessions" were played, as well as a few songs from the new album — "Nobody," "We Love You" and "Game Over," the still-unreleased intro track.

They even snuck in a few deeper cuts like "So Far Away" and "Buried Alive," and then closed off the whole shebang with "A Little Piece of Heaven." Classic

The crowd looked like they were loving it, and you can watch footage of the set above and below via YouTube. Also, check out the full setlist courtesy of Setlist.fm.
