Billie Eilish is really in her metalcore era. Earlier this year, the Gen-Z pop superstar was spotted hanging out side-stage at Knocked Loose's rowdy Coachella set, and then a couple months later she posted a clip of an It Dies Today song on her Instagram story.

Now, she's shown her love for a different metalcore band. Last night, Eilish posted a photo on her story that was soundtracked by a clip of "Demons," a track from Darkest Hour's 2007 album Deliver Us.

Clearly, between a 2004 It Dies Today track and an old-school Darkest Hour joint, Eilish has been on a 2000s-era metalcore kick, which is both a bit surprising, given her current cultural popularity, and also really fucking cool.

Her Instagram boasts 110 million followers, so that's a helluva lot of people who were just introduced to Darkest Hour for the first time. If even a small handful go on to check out the band's music from there, that's a win.

See a screen-cap of Eilish's story below, and blast "Demons" just for the hell of it.
